Surnames I am researching, besides the Chatterton, Flowers and Beebe lines include:

From Port Daniel, New Carlisle, Hopetown and area: Walker, Travers, Smith, Teague, Huntington...

From Nouvelle, Escuminac and area: Day, Pike, Carmichael, Fraser, Dickie, Rose, Hardy...

Hazel,

Do you have any ideas on the origins of William Huntington?

Hi Bill,

I have been concentrating on my Walker line the last little while, but I'm currently stuck so will probably move on to another challenge - the Huntington line. I have piles of paper and electronic documents to sift through for all these families, and will let you know if I come up with anything new.

It's always amazing to me--but shouldn't be any longer--what I discover when I go through old notes and emails I have, along with documents I've had for a while. Seems like the additional knowledge and experience you've gained over the years makes you see those older things in a whole different way that can really help with some of those brick-walls.
